Now that your venue and date are secured, it’s time to book your vendors! You can use our preferred vendor list as a starting point.

Don’t forget to review our vendor policies before you start placing deposits!

You are welcome to come back to the venue anytime during the planning process! You can schedule a visit here or by emailing us.

Also, keep an eye out for Open Houses + Wedding Expos that we host - these are great chances to come see the venue again, meet vendors, chat with the events managers, and so on.

Due before the final venue review

• Room Layouts Questionnaire

  This form will help us to create your custom room layouts. We like to create a rough draft of your layouts about 1-2 months out from wedding day. If you’d like your layouts sooner, just email us to let us know.

• Vendor Questionnaire

  As you book your vendors, fill out the Vendor Questionnaire in your portal. This just helps us prepare for who is going to be onsite, and who we need to talk to if we have questions!

• Beverage Service Questionnaire

  This is the form you will fill out in order to get a beverage service quote. You can do this whenever you are ready!

• Wedding Details Questionnaire

  This form has some small details for us on there, but the most important part of this form is the day-of timeline. Please make sure not to submit this form without that attached!

• Certificate of Event Insurance Form

  You can also email us your COI if that makes it easier!

• Caterer’s Board of Health Certificate Form

  Your caterer can also send it directly to us if that makes it easier!

Three months out from your event the Lizton Lodge team will reach out to you to schedule your wedding rehearsal. Keep in mind this is for the wedding rehearsal only. If you would like to decorate you will need to purchase additional hours and should reach out directly to us to do so. If you would like information on hosting your rehearsal dinner at the Lodge please inquire with us directly via email.

About two months before your wedding, you should receive a Final Details of Beverage Service form. This needs to be completed no later than 45 days in advance of your event. Part of submitting this form includes having your final guest count for your event, so make sure you send out your invitations and set your RSVP deadline accordingly.

Once you submit this form, we will send you any applicable follow-up forms. This is when you will select the beers and wines you want available based on your tier, submit special requests, select your signature cocktails, etc.

About two weeks before your wedding, we will have a final venue review. This meeting will be about 1.5 hours long and we will go over your event flow and finalize details. Keep in mind all major decisions should have already been made at this point, vendor details should be finalized, and a day-of timeline should be completed. If you need to schedule a time to walk the venue to help you make decisions, play with decor, and finalize details, this should be done ahead of time. The Lizton Lodge team will reach out to you about two months before your wedding to schedule this meeting.

Please do this about 2 weeks before your wedding.

We have a few decor items you are welcome to use for your event at no cost. Check out our online inventory to see what we have. To place your “order”, add desired items to your cart and checkout when ready. Please keep in mind that there is a possibility that items are broken or damaged before your event, we will do our best to replace those items, but some are antique items and not easily replaceable.
