Nestled in the heart of Indiana, just a half hour drive from downtown Indianapolis. The Lizton Lodge is a premier event space and wedding venue, offering 22,000 square feet of versatile, elegant and timeless space designed to bring weddings to life.
But the Brides well-being isn’t our only concern, for the guest we have some helpful information below that can make the big day the best day ever for you too!
The Parking Lot
Our 136 space parking lot comes complete with street lighting, space for campers and busses and a lovely view of the estate.
While there is a designated walking path with only a three minute walk. We encourage people to drop off their companions at either entrance to the estate.
A shuttle from the parking lot to the ceremony can be done upon request!
Overnight parking is accepted and welcome in the event of a driver being unable to operate their motor vehicle. Safety first!
Our Restrooms
The Lizton Lodge has over 15 restrooms!
While some are only accessible to the bridal party, many are conveniently located in close proximity to areas that are frequented during receptions.
For example, in the commons area, next to the bar and entrance into the White Hall there is a restroom on the right side of the Commons along with two restrooms to the left side of the commons area when facing the bar.
Two other restrooms can be located behind the grandfather clock and coat closet in the front entrance.
Alcohol Information
While we love a good party and encourage people to let their hair down we also want all celebrations and everyone in the wedding process to be safe, for this reason we humbly ask that the following rules be observed
No shots, doubles or straight liquor “neat” can be served
No beer bongs, funnels, shot gunning or other means of rapid ingestion of alcohol is allowed
Bartender must serve all alcoholic beverages
Alcohol consumption by client's guests is not permitted until after the ceremony
Self-serve and outside alcohol is not permitted. All alcohol must be served by the Lizton Lodge bartenders
Lizton Lodge reserves the right to have an off-duty law enforcement officer on-site for any event
Only the licensed bartenders and Lizton Lodge staff are permitted behind the bar
We reserve the right to check for unpermitted alcohol. Consumption of unpermitted alcohol can result in asking guests to leave the premises or fine.
