Wedding Rehearsal

Your wedding rehearsal is scheduled 90 days in advance of your wedding, based on availability of the venue.* When you schedule your rehearsal, you only have access to the venue for that specific time. Rehearsal is not guaranteed to be the day before your wedding. See below for possible scenarios and further details on your rehearsal time.

*When you book the weekend package, your rehearsal is guaranteed to be the day before your wedding.

  • Then congrats! You will get to have your rehearsal the night before your wedding. You can schedule your time however you wish. You can also purchase additional hours if you want more access to the venue for additional rehearsal time, decoration, preparations, etc.

  • Here is how it would work if there are two weddings in a row:

Friday’s wedding would book their rehearsal anytime they would like, for example 5pm-6pm on Thursday.

Saturday’s wedding will have to wait to schedule their rehearsal until Friday’s has been confirmed. With the example above, Saturday’s rehearsal would have to be completed by 4pm on Thursday to allow buffer room between each rehearsal. So Saturday’s rehearsal would be on Thursday from 3pm-4pm.

  • Yes! Maybe you have a lot of out of town guests, or maybe you don’t want to do rehearsal two days in advance. Whatever the reason, you can most certainly move that time to your wedding day!

And no, the ‘rehearsal time’ does not have to be used for rehearsal. We have some clients who will rehearse off-site and simply use that time for earlier or later access.

  • As long as there is not a wedding the day before yours, then yes! However, we find that the wedding rehearsal typically takes at least 45 minutes (multiple run-throughs, general announcements, and people looking around the venue). So those who want to begin decorating typically will purchase additional time to do so. One or two hours can usually be enough, depending on the amount of hands you have on-site!

We also recommend bringing in anything that you can and are able to the night before. This includes wedding dress, suits, appetizers, florals, decor, wedding party gifts, and anything else! All unloading must happen in the rented hours.

Rehearsal Dinner

Some of our clients want to have their rehearsal dinner onsite to keep everything streamlined and in one space. We love hosting these dinners! You have a few options for having it at the Lodge, you can view them below.*

*Please refer to the package you have booked to ensure that the rehearsal dinner package is not already included in your booking

  • If you want to handle everything yourself, that is completely acceptable! You can just purchase additional venue access hours.

We require a minimum of 2 hours for dinner to allow for time for set-up, tear-down, and clean-up. However if you are handling all decorating, linens, etc. then we recommend 3 hours.

Keep in mind that caterer arrival time, decorating, set-up, tear-down, dinner, speeches, etc. must all occur during rented hours.

  • Lizton Lodge’s rehearsal dinner package includes the following:

    • 3 additional hours of venue access

    • Open beer and wine bar for 2 hours (dinner time)

    • Selection of one of three decor options with live florals

    • Linens for all tables in black or white

    • Decoration of all rehearsal tables

    • Mobile sound system with microphone for music and speeches

Three table decor options are the following:

    • Greenery Garland with live florals tucked in (colors of your choosing) with candles

    • Bud vases with live florals (colors of your choosing) with candles

    • Small live floral arrangement (color of your choosing) with candles

Food service, dinner, plates, and utensils not included.

The price of $1,500 includes up to 35 people - additional people are an additional $30 each. Final counts are due 14 days in advance of your rehearsal.
