Homely spaces for guests to mingle and that feel natural
Our variety of homely spaces for guests to talk and drink during cocktail hour. It is unlikely that all of your guests will know each other and some may only know you. So having a place that is easy for people to flow and know one another is a big thing that most venues don’t have or even consider.
Our space also lends itself to naturally having areas for people to explore and see, it makes your guests feel enchanted with the venue and thereby they have more fun!
Pickleball Court, Basketball court and Two Theatres
If a wedding is a celebration then let's have fun! As a wedding takes all day, we have added some things that can enhance your getting ready with recreation and entertainment for you, your family and friends along with both athletic and introverted people!
Our latest addition is the pickleball court, an orange and tan permanent court that is 20 feet wide and 44 feet long. It is the official competition size. We even provide the pickleball paddles and balls for the game! It is located behind the south wing and in between our sunset hill and wood section. It is one of the great things you and your wedding party can do to relax and blow off some steam while getting ready for the ceremony and subsequent wedding party!
Not only that, we have a basketball hoop attached to the back of our ballroom! The ballroom actually used to be a basketball court with hurricane proof windows and the chandelier inside was actually designed so that a basketball can’t be lodged and stuck inside the chandelier! But fears of the basketball hoop stealing the limelight from the bride or detract from the wedding photos can be put to rest because the basketball court can be used
Our two theatres are located on opposite sides of the main lodge building, the first one is located next to the commons area next to the bar and the second one that is smaller is located in the billiards room. It is a great place to hang out and play video games or watch a show or movie! (Must bring your own gaming console and movies). The larger one located next to the commons is great for showing off slideshows, keeping children occupied and taking naps! Many naps have been taken inside the large theatre.

On the day of the wedding most wedding venue event staff will be there only to clean up spills and not much else, but our staff are always busy making sure the day goes smoothly! We have staff who will be proactive when they see a problem, you don’t have to micromanage every detail so you can focus on looking great for photos and celebrating!
